These spar buoys are easy to deploy, require virtually no maintenance and can be handled by small craft without the use of lifting equipment.
They are suitable for seasonal or short-term deployment.
ES 1700
- Lightweight, cost-effective spar buoy suitable for use in nearshore locations where a buoy with a low waterplane is required
- Selection of top marks are available for use as cardinal and special marks, or with plates for use as racing marks

- Lightweight, low-cost spar buoy suitable for use in nearshore and river locations where a buoy with a low waterplane area is required
- Suitable for 2 NM self-contained light, which will provide a visible range of up to 2 mi and a typical focal plane of 1.3 m
- Rotationally moulded spar made from high-density polyethylene (MDPE)
- Lightweight mooring and sinker weights
- Built-in radar reflector
- Available as a green conical model for starboard lateral marking or in a red cylindrical model for port lateral marks.
- UV-stabilised MDPE construction retains colour within IALA guidelines for more than 15 years
