The official opening ceremony for Fife Renewables Innovation Centre, home to Hydrosphere’s new Scottish office, was held on Thursday this week. (19th Apr 2013)
Guests had the opportunity to hear from a full programme of high profile speakers, including Niall Stuart, Chief Executive of Scottish Renewables and representatives from Samsung Heavy Industries and Bifab. The programme concluded with the official plaque unvielling by The Rt Hon Edward Davey MP, Secretary of State for Energy and Climate Change and the Council Leader, Councillor Alex Rowley.
Hydrosphere relocated its Scottish office to Fife Renewables Innovation Centre earlier in the month. Barbara Whiting, Lead Officer for Renewables, Invest in Fife said: “It’s a pleasure to welcome Hydrosphere, a firmly established supplier within the offshore wind sector to FRIC. Here they will join other key players in the renewables industry and will benefit from access to specialist in-house business support.”
